Here is a short summary of the background:
I was/am a horse trainer, since my former boss brought me over for this job from my home country. Packing up for relocating to beautiful Victoria I realized, I always planned on living here! In old high shool books I discovered my interview telling everybody, I’m going to live in BC…. Never been here before…. But I knew it already.
So I swichted my job from Agricultural Engineer back to Horse trainer and coach… How I earned my way through school already. Going from a National umbrella organization for sports, leading in the world to a small barn with awesome people in the most beautiful spot in the world I could ever have imagined!
Trouble in paradise: I had a severe accident in spring. 600 kg of horse crushed me. Not a great feel.
To make things short: I survived – obviously.
This chaged everything.
As soon as I was able to walk again, I went back ‘home’ to the playa, as the burners say (burningman.com). I got my nickname ‘Phoenix’, since this is what I seem to be! Destruction and rebirth out of the fire. And I get stronger and more beautiful every time … I know, I have something to give to other people – a purpose – a mission. SEE, don’t just look. UNDERSTAND, don’t just hear.
My short term goal is to develop something called ‘Phoenix Equestrian’, as soon as I can do my job full time again (they say it will take time … but I’m the Phoenix 🙂 and keep telling people in BC about the treasures they have in front of their doorstep … this amazing nature! I love the old growth forest,I love the backcountry and the wildlife. I wish, I could hike again.
Even shorter term and the amazing shit: I want to SHOW, what I have commited to! Get my friend, a NYC tatoo artist, to tatoo my Phoenix on me – the Phoenix. Colourful, fierce, splendid, shiny. Get the logo on my website … spread the word, open eyes!

Btw, the farm I was working for got sold short after my accident. The new owner had commited to take me over and backed out, when I got injured. They went out of business 1st October.
There is a reason for everything.
