Inspiring wonder for those born with wings…

I’ve had a life-long passion and love for raptors – I like to say the novel “Hawkmistress” and movie “LadyHawke” are to blame.

I’ve been living and building my dream to inspire understanding and wonder in youngsters and their families for the last eight years — thus the mission statement of my company “Living in celebration of those born with wings”.

In the beginning, I made the long, long trips from Cowichan Bay to Dawson Creek and Prince George alone to facilitate in-person presentations between school-aged youngsters and my feathered-companions because I passionately believe that if students can physically look into the eyes of a bird-of-prey and begin to know and understand them, they’ll care, and take action to preserve them.

I’ve always had a passion to educate through film & television too because once again, if I can get you curious enough about a falcon, hawk or eagle that you want to know more about them, I can propel you into action to speak out for and protect them.
