My name is Lindsay. I have been a successful entrepreneur for 10 years, operating a entertainment business to the Southern Gulf Islands. I am confident that I changed many lives with my fund raising and community projects.
My life came to a screaming halt in May 2014 when my brand new baby boy was diagnosed with a very rare cancer at 8 days old.
We are into the 8th month his cancer treatment, Friday, January 9th marks his final treatment of this protocol.
While this has ruffled my spirit quite considerably, I am more motivated than ever to continue and expand my business and fund raising efforts when the day comes I get to take m Fehrgus out of this hospital.
I would like a portion of my profits to go towards childhood cancer research.
What I need is a new vehicle.
My intention is to continue my services, though on a broader scale. Even cross Canada.
These are the services I provide, and expand with:
~ My travelling dj/karaoke business “Gulf Island Idol”
~Dance/Theatre/Hula Hoop lessons to children, adults and seniors
~Fund Raising through community promotions (my famous “Talent Shows”) that feature local performers on their own stage
~Travelling Puppet Show
~Travelling Local product market.
With this very colorful project, I know I would be offering the many gifts I have been given as an artist, performer, instructor and mentor to anyone and everyone missing that magic in life.
I have found the most awesome vehicle, just outside of Seattle. Its $40,000 obo and the seller really want me to have this truck for this amazing project. It would also serve as Fehrgus’s first home for him and I!
I have $15,000 towards the project, plus $20,000 worth of assets towards the continuation and expansion (pro audio gear, tons of costumes, props, puppets, fire hoops, hula hoops,ect etc)
