Fund aboriginal teen artist to go to school

I hope this is not too late. I just saw this idea on the news tonight…

Awesomer Idea for Artist

I have recently been made aware of a local aboriginal teen who is a good artist, a reliable student and just generally a nice kid. Before Christmas some of the students, from an inner-city high school in Surrey, apply for assistance through the broader school community. Food, clothing and gifts are prepared for the students and their families. I found out that the student was who was assigned to me, was very interested in attending an outreach course from Emily Carr University. However, the program fee is far beyond her means. She was recently homeless and is currently living with extended family. I would like to be able to make this happen for her. I don’t know her name (for confidentiality and privacy reasons) but can ensure the money is directed to the teacher. I believe the course costs about $450. As an Emily Carr alumni myself, I really would like to see this student be given an opportunity to follow her passion for art and receive an awesome surprise that she could never pursue on her own.

Thank you for the opportunity to present my proposal!
