I’m working on converting a stripped down 1978 Honda CB400 into a custom cafe racer styled, electric motorcycle. My motivation for the project is to contribute to the growing adoption of electric vehicles by inspiring conversations in others by demonstrating you can have both desirable function and design in an electric motorcycle. I have adequate budget for the base hardware & drive-train, and so would dedicate the money towards the design elements (custom body work, paint, etc…). In addition, I would dedicate more time to documenting the build process through regularly published blog posts in an effort to help any others learn to do the same.
