Your Awesome Shit:
The Wayward School is an upcoming series of co-operatively facilitated skill and knowledge-sharing events and gatherings in various venues throughout the GVR.
In short, we teach one another, making the most of what we already have by sharing resources. Teachers teach to get experience, network both professionally and socially, and to let people see what they do best.
Teachers receive free membership ($30 value) and a percentage of the profts. Members receive a 50% discount on events and free admission to “members only” events such as flm nights and cook-a-longs. Admission will range between $5-10 (excepting advanced workshops which will vary) and will be widely accessible to difering ages and skill levels. Because the school is user-driven, content will change based on what people can and want to ofer, or
what they seek to learn from others. An overarching theme will guide content for 2-3 month seasons, e.g. “Home Economics” or “The Cosmos”. Skillshares, academic lectures, swap meets, flm nights, and public debates are just some of the formats we will use to create a kind of “festival of learning”. Events will be well-documented and broadcast as a weekly digest on CFUV and as a podcast.

Cosidetto and Morales currently reside in Victoria, BC, and being nomadic, hope that during their time here they can build something great for everyone to share for years to come.
