Breathe Now is a conference designed to fulfil the needs of women in a nurturing and empowered environment. Whether an accomplished business professional,  a stay at home mom, or a young woman still in school, the conference is intended to bring women of diverse demographics together by sharing a common goal of enriching each other’s lives through partnership and friendship.

There are a number of conferences targeted at women and women’s’ issues; however, each of these is aimed at specific aspects of what it means to be a woman.  As women, our lives are an inter-connected web of all of our facets:  emotional, career, spiritual …  When the Breathe Now founders were considering which conferences to attend in the upcoming year, it became apparent that in order attend an event that brought together all of those facets in a holistic manner, they were going to have to create that conference themselves.

Breathe Now was conceived as an opportunity for women to talk about the issues they face in their daily lives, while celebrating the things that bring them joy.

Your Bio: I am a Maritime girl living life to its fullest on the magnificent West Coast. By day I’m a hotel executive with a flair for sales and marketing. When the lights go down, I moonlight as a social media geek and freelance writer, habitually engaged to chardonnay. I lush over spas, am curious of epicurean supremacy and live vicariously through my harem of wine aficionado acquaintances. My admiration of architecture and travel make for the perfect marriage while savouring great books and being an advocate for LGBT rights fulfills my soul. If ever a dull moment shall occur, I can be found smoozing with friends and perfect strangers over an extraordinary nosh while frequently belly laughing. I live by the mantra “well behaved women rarely make history”.
