I have a GREAT idea that need support to launch for the dates Feb 13-15th 2015 The idea is called the #sayhitoastranger social experiment and Community initiative in Vancouver, B.C. Vancouver has the reputation for being a very ‘cold’ city, so we put it to the test at one point and created a Video and posted it on-line. That experiment exploded with controversy so we thought we would bring it to the streets. A weekend of saying ‘HI!’ to a stranger. Spread via on-line Social Media but brought into real life. Participants are asked to share photos or videos from their smart phones. Local Businesses are also involved by being ‘checkpoints’ where participants can go and #sayhitoastranger and they will be given FREE stuff from the business. The campaign is designed to spread like wildfire online with prizes and incentives, but ultimately moves offline into real life where folks say ‘Hi!’ to eachother for a full weekend and as a bonus, this installment will be during the Valentines weekend! Maybe meet your true love? Who knows? You need to say ‘Hello!’ first!
