Bowen Island Pizza Company

Well. This sounds like fun! Here goes:

7 years of post-secondary schooling and 3 years of boring office work has led me to a fork in the road. Actually, there is no fork, because you eating pizza with a fork would be sacrilegious.
Jokes aside, I have quit my job, and am pursuing my passion, and this Spring, I will be opening up a small gourmet pizza shop in Lonsdale Quay. At the Bowen Island Pizza Company, you can sit at our live edge, douglas fir countertop and enjoy a thin, bubbly slice topped with bartlett pears, roasted garlic, caramelized onions, and brie cheese. Fruit on pizza not your thing? Try our taco pizza, complete with a jalapeno crust, finely ground taco spiced beef and crunchy, baked taco chips on top.
Growing up on Bowen Island, I learnt a lot about community. This project is loaded with human capital, from the Vancouver Urban Timberworks countertop to Bowen Island’s finest farm veggies in the summer, our underlying aim is to help people to support other small businesses.
Vancouver is awesome, so undoubtedly this event will have a great turnout. I hope I’m selected, as I’m sure it will be a riot. If not – have an amazing time and the best of luck to everyone!
Rock on!
