Sea to sky spoken word series

How’s it coming for submissions !? I have at least a couple if not a few seedlings planted that could use some fertilizer to take root.

I work a lot and finally have a day off to collect myself. Tomorrow where I will send my 200 words. Or 200 words per idea :)?

In a nutshell.
I’ve started a poetry slam community in whistler. I have a venue. The crystal lounge and a prime pre jam night Sunday available to me. Our first slam was well received. And what I really want is to have a sea to sky spoken word series and eventually form a slam team and compete like van slam does:) that will require getting out to Squamish and pemby communities finding hosts venues and marketing. And of course poets. And bam! Or host myself but I can’t be at all those slams, so I’m hoping to recruit. Getting eye catching posters everywhere is a must.
From there I think it will come together nicely.

I have this amazing balance board program for rehabilitation of head injuries and natural balancing of ” behavioral difficulties” of kids what ever that means.
If I had the ability to make some videos I found get this program out to more peoples. And work-shopping with teachers
I am a 500 hr certified yoga teacher so I’m fully covered to teach the excercises publicity and privately.

I am also a body worker. I work at Vida Spa in whistler. We provide auyrvedic bodywork and programs. I am one of many people that perform the service. But I know far more about the philisophy. And I want to train the other ladies, get them colorful information and worksheets, personal practice and yoga classes. To integrate and assimilate this tradition so that guests can experience more deeply the ideas presented in this ancient Indian healing art and science.

SO. I really hope you get enough submissions and run this awesome club. I hope one or all of my ideas you believe in as much as I do.

Cheers
Lady A
